Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is a process of recognising a person’s current knowledge, skills and experience. It provides a legitimate pathway toward a qualification without the hassle of having to repeat learning in areas for which you are currently qualified.
Recognition of prior learning is an evidence gathering process. In order for your knowledge and skills to be recognised, you must be able to provide a sufficient amount of evidence. This may include:

bullet Résumé
bullet Previous certificates, training undertaken
bullet Responding to verbal or written questions
bullet Observations in the workplace
bullet Third party reports from supervisors
bullet Portfolio of workplace documents you have produced

To make an enquiry about our courses or RPL, please contact Hannike Glen @ Connexion Training on

Please note, Connexion Training has an auspice agreement with the Australian College of Training and Employment (ACTE) RTO number 31455. All qualifications will be issued by ACTE.
